IMO Precision Controls continually monitors and reviews its product ranges to ensure that, where possible, any components that IMO Precision Controls market comply with the regulatory conditions. This ensures all IMO RoHS products do not contain any of the banned substances or contain a level equal to, or better than, those stipulated by the Directive for homogenous materials, that being

REACH Compliance

As of the 1st July 2007 the REACH Directive (1907/2006) was made law addressing the production and use of chemical substances, as well as their potential impacts on both human health and the environment, therefore all producers have to review the use of such chemicals in order to lessen or eliminate any potential health risks.

The EU has introduced a list of chemicals of Very High Concern (VHC) which have to be registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECA) in Helsinki, Finland if they are used or imported in quantities over one tonne or more (per annum).

As with the RoHS & WEEE Directives, IMO Precision Controls continually monitors its products & processes to ensure that where possible any components that we market comply with the regulatory conditions.
